Mwalim's Play Featured in "Screaming Bloody Murder" Presentation

ROXBURY - On January 22, 2011, "Screaming Bloody Murder" will be presented by the Roxbury Center for the Arts, Swagga, Inc. and TYG Productions. “Screaming Bloody Murder" will start at 8:00 p.m. Roxbury Center for Arts at Hibernian Hall, 184 Dudley St., Roxbury. Doors open at 7:30 PM. $20 General admission, $10 seniors and children 14 and under, group rates available.

"Screaming Bloody Murder,” is in response to the rise of violent crimes in Boston, local theater artists join forces to create a forum for discussion through an evening of dramatic works and creative dance. The show features four one-acts from playwrights Mwalim *7, Frank A. Shefton, Vincent Ernest Siders and Sean Travis Taylor, as well as dance creations from Boston Tap Company and Swagga Inc. Following the performances there will be an open discussion about the works and the issues surrounding them.
